President Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Oleksiy Kuleba Deputy Head of the President’s Office.
The corresponding decree was published on the website of the head of state on the evening of January 24.
Prior to this, Kuleba headed the Kyiv OVA.
Today, the president officially dismissed Valentin Reznichenko (Dnepropetrovsk OVA), Oleksandr Starukh (Zaporozhye OVA), Dmitry Zhyvitsky (Sumskaya OVA) and Yaroslav Yanushevich (Kherson OVA).
All these officials headed the front-line regions. Reznichenko in the fall of 2022 was at the center of a scandal with the financing of road repairs in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
On the morning of January 24, it became known that the President of Ukraine granted the request of Kyrylo Tymoshenko and dismissed the official from his post.
Prior to this, Tymoshenko had drawn criticism for driving in an American SUV that the automobile company General Motors provided to rescue citizens from war zones and for humanitarian missions. The official justified his trips as official.
In his January 23 address, Zelenskiy had previously announced a personnel reshuffle.
