Gazprombank will suspend transfers in US dollars due to the decisions of American correspondent banks. It was reported by Interfax.
“Due to the unilateral decisions of American financial institutions, the USD correspondent accounts of Gazprombank at JPMorgan Chase Bank and Bank of New York Mellon will be terminated,” the bank said in a statement.

“This will not affect the work of Gazprombank in any way, the service on the accounts and deposits of our clients in dollars, as well as cross-border transfers in other currencies, will continue,” the bank added.
They emphasized that individuals and legal entities have continued access to their funds and services.
It was previously reported that Ukraine called on the United States to impose sanctions against all private banks in the Russian Federation.
Recall that President Volodymyr Zelensky implemented the decision of the National Security and Defense Council to impose sanctions against Russian banks.
