After the massive Russian attack on Ukraine on January 14, Moldovan guards at the Larga border found the remains of a rocket from Russian airstrikes. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Moldova.
In connection with the attack on the territory of Ukraine, the country’s border police implemented an emergency plan and increased the number of patrols in the border zone, monitoring the airspace and the green strip of the border.
After the discovery of the remains of the alleged rocket, measures were immediately taken to protect the area and reported to the emergency service 112. Also reported to the Brychansky district prosecutor’s office. Moldovan law enforcement officials are keeping an eye on the surroundings and are preparing assistance for the investigation and verification teams and the prosecutor’s office.
This is the third case when the remnants of missiles from the bombing of Ukraine fell on the territory of the Republic of Moldova. As in previous cases, all necessary actions are carried out in accordance with the procedure of the competent authorities.
