Near Chistopolye, Zaporozhye region, on January 5, fighters of the Russian Guard shot 6 Russian soldiers who were about to surrender to the Defense Forces, according to a summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“In order to maintain military discipline and prevent the spread of panic among the personnel of the occupying forces operating in the direction of Zaporizhia, the enemy activated the National Guard units. Thus, it became known that on January 5, near the settlement of Chistopolye, 6 people were shot, who expressed their position of surrender captured by the Defense Forces of Ukraine,” the statement said.
