Makiivka attack: Russia acknowledges the death of 89 soldiers

The Ministry of Defense of Russia has increased the official death toll as a result of the strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Russian military location in Makeevka, Donetsk region. On this evening of Tuesday, January 3, the report of RIA Novosti.

“The number of Russian soldiers killed in Makiivka has risen to 89, the Russian Defense Ministry said,” the report said.

Also, the Russian Defense Ministry said they allegedly destroyed the HIMARS installation, where Ukrainian troops struck Makiivka. In the agency’s next report, the number of allegedly destroyed HIMARS installations rose to four.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation acknowledged the death of 63 soldiers.

Recall that the Office of Strategic Communications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that in Makiivka on New Year’s Eve about 400 invaders were destroyed, about 300 more were wounded.
