The head of state congratulated Sweden on its EU presidency and expressed hope for progress on the issue of European integration.
Kyiv hopes that during the Swedish presidency of the EU Council, Ukraine will achieve practical steps on the issue of European integration. This was said by President Volodymyr Zelensky during the Swedish government’s congratulations on having leadership status in this body of the European Union, reports European Truth on Sunday, January 1.
“I congratulate the Prime Minister of Sweden on the beginning of the Swedish Presidency of the EU Council. I wish you successful implementation of the priorities of the Presidency! We look forward to further practical steps towards the integration of Ukraine into the EU,” the leader the state said.
As previously reported, Zelenskiy called the strike in Ukraine on December 31 as a result of the fate of Russia itself – the terrorist state will not be forgiven.
In addition, according to Zelensky, Ukraine not only maintained its air defense, but also made it stronger than before.
