The Secretary General of NATO said that Russia is now training its soldiers and preparing them for a new offensive.
Russia is preparing a new wave of offensive against Ukraine. This is what NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said in an interview with BBC Radio 4 on the program World at One.
He also urged not to underestimate the impact of continued mobilization in the Russian Federation.
According to him, now Ukraine has an advantage on the battlefield and reminded that this has been happening for a long time. At the same time, he believes that Kyiv has not yet felt all the consequences of the so-called “partial mobilization” that took place in the Russian Federation in the fall.
According to the General Secretary of the Alliance, they testify that Russia “is ready to continue the war and wants to potentially start a new offensive.”
Ukraine must maintain and continue support from the Western world, including the supply of weapons, he insisted.
Stoltenberg is also convinced that the war will end with negotiations with Russia, but it is important to create good conditions for the start of negotiations.
“What Ukraine can achieve on this table depends entirely on strength on the battlefield,” Stoltenberg concluded.
Napmonim, according to Stoltenberg, Germany and other NATO countries should continue to provide weapons to Ukraine – this is the fastest way to peace.
