As of December 31, Russia has lost 760 people. The invaders are regrouping troops in the direction of Kherson. They are on the defensive – in Novopavlovsk and Zaporozhye, and also continue to attempt offensive operations in Bakhmut, while in the directions of Kupyansky, Limansky and Avdeevsky they are trying to improve their tactical position. During the day, the enemy launched 35 air strikes, in particular, used UAVs – all of them were shot down by units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
The Russian invaders also carried out 16 attacks from multiple rocket launch systems, including on a children’s hospital in the city of Kherson.
Volynskoye, Polesskoye, Severskoye and Slobozhansky directions
No sign of the formation of offensive groups of invaders was seen.

Artillery bombed the areas of the settlements Buchki and Yasnaya Polyana of the Chernihiv region; Novovasilievka, Vintorivka, Chernatskoye, Ulanovo, Studenok, Khodino, Iskriskovshchina, Krasnopolye and Ugroids in the Sumy region and Morokhovets, Green, Staritsa, Ogurtsevo, Malaya Volchya, Melovoe, Volchansk, Dvurechnaya, Moskovkahar and Kakovmenka region.

The enemy fired at Vodiane, Avdeevka, Krasnogorovka, Maryinka and Novomikhailovka in the Donetsk region.

The enemy shelled Vremka, Bolshaya Novoselka, Prechistovka, Ugledar and Nikolskoye in the Donetsk region.
Zaporozhye direction
Enemy fire was recorded near more than 15 settlements. These include Vremovka, Zelenoe Pole and Novopol in the Donetsk region; Olgovskoye, Poltavka, Dorozhnyanka, Zaliznychnoe, Charivne and Novodanilovka in Zaporozhye and Novoselka in Kherson region.

The Russians attacked the civilian infrastructure of the settlements of Gavrilovka, Dudchany, Kachkarovka, Republican, Berislav, Lvovskoe, Ivanovka, Ingulets, Engineering, Antonovka and Kherson.

Ukrainian aviation delivered 13 strikes on the areas of the invaders.
Ukrainian units of missile and artillery troops hit two places of concentration of manpower and military equipment of the enemy.
