“There are about 2,500 people in the city. Unfortunately, we saw a trend in November-December that a large part of people returned to the city – about 500 people returned to Avdiivka. At the same time, as Barabash said, the invaders on the eve of December 30 opened fire on the city from mortars, cannon artillery, and Gradov.
He also noted that the main task for local authorities is to provide more or less understood services.
“It was reduced to a minimum – to bring humanitarian aid, medicines. To establish the work of the hospital, public utilities – pumping water from wells, minimally cleaning the roads from debris after shelling. There possibility of evacuation, but there are not many people who want to. In one week we have released only five people and according to the applications there is no one for the next week,” he summarized.
Earlier, the leader of Kyiv said that most of the capital’s residents have returned to the city.
