The police detained two residents of the city of Slovyansk, who were distributing the locations of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General (OGP) of Ukraine.
“In July 2022, two citizens collected data on the whereabouts of military personnel and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Slovyansk,” the report said.
According to the UCP, the man clarified the information and coordinates on the ground. After that, the woman, using applications and a messenger, sent information to the phone of a Russian mobile operator.
The prosecutor’s office submitted to the court indictments on the facts of disseminating information about the location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – Part 3 of Art. 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The suspects are currently awaiting sentencing in custody.
Recall that the SBU detained collaborators in the Kharkiv region who helped move Russian military trains to Ukraine.
