The head of state devoted his next video message to Ukrainians to the theme of humanity and mutual aid.
President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the next year will not be easy for Ukraine, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine, together with the Ukrainian people, will win in the end. The main thing is not to lose humanity. Zelensky said this in his next video message to Ukrainians on Wednesday, December 28.
He urged Ukrainians to support each other, no matter what and in their hearts.
“Please take the time to say kind words to people close to you. Even if it’s not people close to you – only to other Ukrainians. Please find an opportunity and a moment to thank the work, praise for this or that effort , for care “said Zelensky.
He noted that if a person is left alone in such a difficult time, he should be asked if he needs help.
“If you know that someone is expecting a son or daughter from the war, please pay attention: say hello, listen, help,” Zelensky urged.
He also added that attention to others “is all our common defense.”
“We have not lost our humanity, although we have experienced terrible months. And we will not lose it, although there is also a difficult year ahead. We will reach victory. And we must really do it together,” Zelensky stressed.
He urged to take care of Ukraine, respect each other and do everything to help Ukrainian soldiers.
Recall that on Wednesday Zelensky addressed the Verkhovna Rada. His speech lasted 52 minutes. He was interrupted by applause 41 times.
