The Ministry of Economy has already prepared a draft resolution detailing the criteria and procedures for settling draft bookings.
The Cabinet of Ministers plans to allow Ukrainians of draft age who have received reservations from the draft to travel abroad. This was said by the Minister of Economy Yulia Sviridenko in an interview with Forbes.
According to him, the Ministry of Economy has already prepared a draft resolution detailing the criteria and procedures for arranging draft bookings. Now it is agreed. The document must be approved by the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff.
“Since this issue is important, sensitive and debatable, it is necessary to coordinate the positions and find the balance of all interested parties. Now the discussion is in full swing. Once the position is agreed, the Ministry of Economy will come out with appropriate communication,” the minister said.
He noted that if the draft resolution is approved, the procedure for “Reinstatement” will lose its meaning, since booked people will be able to cross the border without obstacles, provided they have the necessary documents. The Ministry of Economy is also working on converting bookings to electronic format.
“Our task is not to allow everyone to leave, our task is to help operating businesses go abroad to conclude new contracts, agreements, participate in exhibitions, and so on,” he added.
Earlier, the National Commission of Moldova in the state of emergency simplified the rules for entering the country for Ukrainians.
