Power engineers and other emergency services are doing their best to stabilize the situation as soon as possible, Kyiv Electric Grids told DTEK.

Emergency blackouts continue to be implemented in Kyiv and the Kyiv region. The stabilization schedules drawn earlier are still inactive, DTEK Kyiv Electric Grids reported on Tuesday morning, December 27.

“Emergency blackouts are taking place in Kyiv. Stabilization shutdown schedules drawn earlier are not yet effective. DTEK electrical engineers, together with specialists from NPC Ukrenergo, other emergency services and government authorities, are doing everything to stabilize the situation as soon as possible,” the message said.

Remember yesterday in the energy system of Ukraine there was a significant lack of capacity. In this regard, emergency power outages were re-introduced in Kyiv and five other regions.

Ukrenergo also said that a new fake about power outages is being spread on social networks.
