In the Tyumen region, strange ice sculptures were installed for the New Year holidays, which caused a wave of criticism.
In Nizhnevartovsk, based on the fairy tales of Pavel Bazhov, ice and snow sculptures were installed, which caused dissatisfaction among local residents. This was reported by the Rise website.
In particular, the most actively discussed is the Snow Maiden, whom some call “man-snow gur” or the daughter of Genghis Khan because of the Mongolian eye shape.
According to some reports, the sculpture cost the local authorities ten million rubles, which is about $75,000.
In local social networks, they wrote that the money was wasted, because the Snow Maiden scares children more than it likes.
At the same time, the mayor’s office said that some ice compositions have not yet been completed, as the official opening will take place on December 24.
“The contractor has not yet given the customer the work as completed, so let’s wait a little bit on the estimates from the city,” local officials responded.
Earlier it was reported that a sculpture was installed in the center of Prague, which is dedicated to the Ukrainian mother who suffered from the war with Russia.
The installation “Shoot” appeared in the center of Kyiv
