agent National Police killed an alleged perpetrator who tried to attack him at the intersection of Placido Jiménez and Ferrocarril Avenues in the Lima area, Augustinian.
A plainclothes policeman was walking along Ferrocarril Avenue when he was intercepted by three assailants on motorcycles.
The criminals surrounded the man and tried to snatch his backpack, in which he carried a mobile phone and a laptop.
The agent drew his standard weapon and fired at the criminals, killing one of them and injuring two others.
The deceased perpetrator has been identified as Renzo Molina Andia (aged 25), who, according to police, committed aggravated robberies in 2016.

Two other wounded attackers were taken to the intensive care unit Hospital Two Maywith a modest prognosis.
