On Monday, Sucamec and the national police seized seven tons of fireworks that had been secretly stored in two houses in Villa Maria del Triumfo.

“During the intelligence work of the employees of the Sucamec control and supervision department, it was established that they carried out secret storage of artisanal pyrotechnic materials in agreement with National Police of Peru for the appropriate support and the opportunity to intervene in this illegal workshop with 555 kilograms of explosives,” said Alberto Valladores, head of the institution.
