With only a few clouds passing through the North, the rest of France is enjoying the last of the lovely summer temperatures, according to Weather channel *. An easterly wind in the English Channel makes the temperature more bearable for enjoying the beaches one last time. On the Atlantic side, authorities are urging caution as the risk of buoys is high over the weekend, raising fears of drowning.

Clouds will barely clear over the mountains in eastern areas, with a few late thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. So far, the Pyrenees have been spared from violent storms that do not exceed the border of Spain. High temperatures are back in the south-west with locally reaching 35°C.
