The spike in Covid-19 cases that marked July in France and Europe appears to be already on the decline. Primarily a derivative of the Omicron variant, it had little effect on travel. The new health law, which came into force in France on August 1, confirms the end of detention, curfews and health transitions. However, the government may impose a PCR test on travelers entering France in certain cases.
Restrictions continue to be lifted on almost every continent amid vengeful tourism and hardships for tourism professionals amid skyrocketing demand (lack of planes, recruitment issues, etc.). Caution, however. some formalities still apply, especially outside Europe.
