Gamarra: The influx of people wishing to get vaccinated against COVID-19 has increased

The influx of people looking get a vaccination against COVID-19 increased at the immunization post installed at the Gamarra station, Metro Limafound a team News RPP.

Diana Valladares, Ministry of Health (Minsa), it was indicated that this increase in people coincides with the beginning of the fourth wave of the pandemic COVID-19 in Peru.

But this is also due, in his estimation, to a decrease in the age group (currently set at 30) for the application fourth dose anticovid.

More vaccinated

Valladares indicated that before noon this Saturday they had vaccinated one hundred people, a figure that far exceeds what was achieved a week ago.

“Last Saturday during the day we vaccinated about a hundred people. Today we are only going at noon, and there are already a hundred of us,” he said.

It is worth noting that throughout Metro Lima Immunization points have been set up at Gamarra, La Cultura and Angamos stations. All visit from 8:00 to 16:00, from Monday to Sunday.
