A little cat was rescued after a spectacular traffic accident last night at the intersection of Talara and Salaverry avenues, in Jesus Mary.
Witnesses told RPP news that the black car in which the cat was traveling collided violently with a white van at the aforementioned intersection.
Jaqueline Rodriguez, a passenger in the white van, blamed the driver of the black car, who was believed to be a veterinarian, for the crash. The woman accused him of driving while intoxicated.
“Are you not going to take an alcohol dose because you will be lying on a stretcher? It’s red, he’s drunk,” she said, obviously upset.

The two occupants of the black car involved in the main accident were evacuated to a medical center, while a small cat the district watchmen placed him in a safe place.
The cat appears to have been unharmed in the accident.
The case remains under investigation to identify those responsible.
