Three people died in an altercation between barista
What happened this weekend in San Miguel reminded us of what happened in the Jesus Maria area last October. The three deaths are the balance left behind by the confrontation between the supposed baristas on the second block of Cuba Avenue.
One of the alleged baristas, identified as Marco Ricardo Campos Huamonte (41), died at the same spot where the confrontation took place; while two others, Deo Ejandro Medina Ramirez and Carlos Alberto Zegarra Soto, died at the Rebagliati hospital.
The confrontation occurred when the alleged Alianza Lima baristas were walking down Alejandro Tirado Avenue to go to Matute Stadium to watch their team play. According to the investigation, they clashed with some alleged supporters of the Universitario de Deportes.
Faced with the perceived provocation, the baristas began throwing stones at each other. One of them, whose side is still unknown, dodges the stones and runs up with a pistol to open fire indiscriminately.
