Puente Piedra: man shot in the head by an unidentified man who stole his mobile phone

Early Wednesday morning, a man was shot dead on Calle 1 of the Aviduni association in the Puente Piedra area.

Victim identified as Christian Manuel Shroud Rhodes (26 years old), was a petty officer of the Peruvian fleet. The young man died almost instantly, despite the fact that the locals tried to help him.

Surveillance cameras captured the moment the young man was driving down the street when he was stopped by a motorcycle with two subjects on board. One of them descends from the smaller vehicle, weapon in hand.

A few seconds later, the stranger points his gun at Christian Manuel Shroud Rhodes, drops the backpack he was carrying, approaches the young man and shoots him in the head. As soon as his victim falls to the ground, the perpetrator snatches her mobile phone and flees on a motorcycle towards the North Pan American Highway.

They do not exclude retribution

In the backpack thrown by the criminals, forensic experts found an identity card, bottles and a piece of paper with an inscription.

The objects will be analyzed as part of the Depincri de investigation A stone bridge. The authorities do not rule out that there is a payoff behind the crime, since the backpack and wallet of the victim were left in place.
