whatsappinstant messaging application owned by Target, continues to develop new features and plan changes to some of those already implemented on its platform. Thanks to the new report, we already know about two specific innovations that are being tested in the version. Beta applications and which are most likely close to the service.
How detailed WABetaInformation, whatsapp introduced both a general change in username visibility and a notification that will prompt you to activate temporary messages as an alternative to free up space on your mobile or reduce its consumption when it is about to run out. These innovations correspond to update 2.22.25.10 Beta in android.
WhatsApp will pay more attention to the username
As for the first one, whatsapp always gave the user the option to choose a name when creating their account on the platform, with the ability to change it at any time from their profile. However, this form of identification is largely irrelevant, as people who have not added us to their calendars with their chosen alias see us with our phone number. The account name is only displayed in a small form when someone opens the profile.
The exception, of course, is group chats, where messages are signed using phone number and Name selected by the user for people who have not booked them in their contacts, although it seems small compared to the number anyway.
Now, in Beta, messages from those who are not in your address book will be signed with the name they have chosen for their profile, and the phone number will be displayed with reduced visibility. The change aims to help recognize who sent the message, now that communities increases the possibility of interaction in groups with people who are not in our contact lists.

WhatsApp will offer to activate temporary messages to free up space
Another novelty that the application is preparing for its platform is related to the release storage space on mobile equipment. If the user is low on free space, a notification will appear prompting them to activate temporary messages, which are automatically deleted after a certain amount of time.
This new shortcut will take the user to the temporary chats screen within whatsapp from where they can be activated for the respective accounts. That way, in exchange for sacrificing the conversation histories of our contacts, we can free up a few extra megabytes of storage in case we need them urgently.
