“The crews of the manned spacecraft Shenzhou-14 and Shenzhou-15 conducted reception procedures, during which the keys to the Chinese space station were handed over,” the report said.

It is indicated that the Chinese space station officially began to operate in the mode of long-term stay of astronauts.

The Shenzhou-14 crew (Chen Dong, Cai Xuzhe and Liu Yang) completed all planned tasks and will return to Earth on December 4 in a manned spacecraft. He will be replaced by Fei Junlong, Deng Qingming and Zhang Lu.

The Tiangong station is located at an altitude of about 400 km and will last for more than 10 years. It is designed for three people (up to six at short notice when changing crew). The mass of the T-shaped complex, with three docking nodes and a gateway for access to space, is 66 tons, the volume of compartments reaches 110 cubic meters. The station is expected to be used for international projects.

Remember, on November 30, the Chinese manned spacecraft Shenzhou-15 was launched from the Tiangong station. The crew of three will conduct more than 40 scientific and technical experiments, and three or four spacewalks will also be made.
