The Polish-Croatian team was able to find the find using the latest Lidar technology.

In the territory of Danilo in Croatia, during excavations under the church of St. Daniel found the foundation of an ancient Roman temple. Arkeonews writes about it.

When scanning the surface of the earth, the frame of the entrance to the temple was found. This is probably all that remains of the old colonnade.

It is assumed that the temple has a large size – 20 by 10 meters. It has big walls.

Moreover, an ancient cemetery was found not far from the shrine. It is believed that it was used in the IX-XV centuries.
