need results

Since the study is just beginning, the results are still far away.

“If our study, the first of its kind in the world, is successful, it will mean that patients who currently require blood transfusions blood Long-term patients will require fewer blood transfusions in the future, which will help transform their care,” lead researcher Cedric Gevaart, a hematologist and professor of transfusion medicine at the University of Cambridge, said in a statement.
