Ukrainian border guards found the men in the basement, where the Russians locked them up after filtering measures.
Ukrainian border guards freed five teenagers from the basement where the occupiers were holding them in Kupyansk, Kharkiv region. This was announced by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SFSU) on Thursday, September 15.
Local residents informed the border guards about the detention of the teenagers by the invaders. As a result, the State Border Guard Service found five detainees aged 15 to 17 in one of the basements.
Four women and one man were in the basement for seven days.
“Teenagers, residents of Kupyansky, Izyumsky and Chuguevsky districts became students of an educational institution – future doctors,” said the border guards.
According to the release, the occupiers carried out filtration measures, then closed them in the basement without explanation.
Recall that Ukrainian border guards previously demonstrated how they clean up traces of Russian occupation in Volchansk, Kharkiv region.
As you know, the Armed Forces of Ukraine cleared most of the Kharkiv region within a few days, and in some places reached the Russian border.
