Elon Musk challenged Parag Agrawal, CEO Twitterto a public debate showing how many fake accounts exist on the platform.
“I hereby challenge @paraga to a public debate about the percentage of bots from Twitter. Show the public that Twitter has less than 5% fake or spam users per day!”

Elon Musk refused to complete his $44 billion offer because he believes Twitter misleads you about the percentage of fake accounts that exist on their platform.
The billionaire spoke to a fan who summarized his claims about Twitterincluding hiding and providing “stale data” and a “false data set” when asking the company for details on how it checks spam and bot estimates.
“Good description of the problem. Yes Twitter limiting itself to providing its method of sampling 100 accounts and how it confirms that they are real, the deal must be made on the original terms. However, if your SEC filings are found to be false in substance, you should not do so,” he said.
