The crew is astronaut Michael Lopez-Alegria, who previously worked for NASA, and a group of tourists: American businessman Larry Connor, Canadian investor Mark Paty and Israeli businessman Eitan Stibbe.

According to SpaceX, the launch went as planned – in the third minute, the first stage broke away from the launch of the vehicle and, according to the company’s technology, soon landed on a platform in the Atlantic for later use. . Crew Dragon docking will take place on Saturday morning.

It will be recalled that on September 19 last year, the Crew Dragon spacecraft, the crew of which for the first time consisted of four civilians, crashed into the Atlantic Ocean after three days in Earth orbit.
