Uber announced that it would begin showing its drivers how much they would be paid for the rides they took.
With a new feature called “advance fares”, bus drivers Uber they will be able to find out the amount they will receive if they accept the tour, in addition to the exact end point of the trip.
Uber is getting friendlier
Through a statement Uber says he wants to “be more flexible”.
According to the added documents, the amount drivers reveal before they agree to a ride depends on “several factors, including base fares, estimated journey times and pickup distances.”
For drivers, this could mean less revenue for drivers who take long trips with no traffic jams, but higher profits for short trips with traffic jams or in areas with fewer passengers.
For passengers, the change may mean fewer canceled trips because the driver doesn’t really want to go to the destination or realizes it won’t be a very profitable trip.

This is not the only novelty for Uber.
Uber is also rolling out a feature called “trip radar” that will allow drivers to see other ride requests in their area, allowing them to select the specific rides they want to take.

These changes will affect “most of the United States in the coming months” for the first time. After that, they will begin to reach the rest of the world.
