Artificial intelligence is increasingly used by both cybercriminals and protective equipment developers against them.

The growing role of artificial intelligence in the field of cybersecurity causes both anxiety and hope. According to the NBC, both hackers and companies that should stop them are increasingly attracting AI to their activities, creating a kind of “arm race” in the digital world.

The report states that in recent months both cybercriminals and spies, and researchers and corporate defenders have turned to AI-Technologies. Large language models such as ChatGPT, despite the tendency to mistakes, learned to quickly process the text instructions, come up with a program code and study the documents.

Examples of AI use: Google uses it to look for weaknesses, the crowdstrike helps users respond to cyber attacks, and the start of the Xbow reaches the top position at the Hackerone platform rating. At the same time, in the field of Social Engineering AI is already used to create fake resumes and accounts, as did North Korea’s agents, trying to get into western technological companies.

The use of AI in the cyber is added to this: Russian hackers have gemed algorithms in malware, so that they automatically look for confidential files on the victims’ computers in Ukraine.

Despite individual successes, as technologies are more likely to act as an instrument that accelerates familiar processes, which has been able to unite new weaknesses.

We will remind you, earlier it was reported that hackers had learned to exceed Windows antivirus and the Miller-Militter would be installed.
