Tesla has officially launched a new change of her popular crossover – Model YL. According to Electk, this is a large version of Model Y with six seats that appeared in the company’s online configurator for the Chinese market.
Last month, the company announced the first technical parameters: the model became almost 18 cm longer, 2.4 cm higher, and its wheelbase increased by 15 cm. This makes it possible to significantly expand the interior space. Tesla now confirmed that the trunk capacity reached 2539 liters, and electric armrests appeared in the second row.
Model YL shows a range of up to 751 km in the CHTTC cycle. This indicator has been possible thanks to an increased battery block, though the real scope according to other international standards may be lower.
The car received a starting price of 339 thousand yuan, which was approximately matching the US 47 thousand dollars. It’s a little more expensive than the standard version of the Model Y Long Range, but the new thing offers more space and additional options.
The updated crossover has already been shown in branded materials and pictures, and the company has planned the beginning of delivery for September this year.
