With the help of artificial intelligence, it is possible to compare Babylonian digitized texts and see the full text of the song.

As a result of international cooperation at the University of Baghdad, Professor Enrique Jimenes from Munich University Ludwig-Maximilian has discovered the Babylonian song, which has been considered nearly a thousand years. The Sciencex reported it.

The song was probably dated at the beginning of the 1st Millennium BC. And he was widespread because the children copied it to schools. This is a surprise of scientists, because despite this popularity, the text is not known in modern science.

Thanks to the use of the Babylonian library electronic platform, researchers have not only been able to -notify all the well -known fragments of Babylonian cuneiform texts, but also the use of artificial intelligence to find which of them belongs to a text. As a result, it is possible to compare 30 tablets that have been part of a song – it is allowed to restore the entire text consisting of about 250 lines.

In the song, the May -Set expresses admiration in the city, describing Babylonian architecture, as well as natural phenomena, such as the spring spill of the euphrates, that irrigation fields are a very rare motive for Mesopotamian literature.

Separately, the researchers were surprised at the description of the role of women in society, especially as priests – such references were not previously encountered in the popular Babylonian texts.

The song also indicates the tolerance of city residents to foreigners, which is an unexpected discovery for historians.

The ruins of ancient Babylon, located 85 km from Baghdad, are now a matter of heritage in the UNESCO world. Restoration of this text is an important step in understanding the legacy of Mesopotamia culture.

The study was published in the Iraq Scientific Journal.

We will remind you, earlier that artificial intelligence in the first time has specified the name of the “unread” scroll from Vesuvius.
