The first stage of the launch vehicle returned to Earth approximately 8 minutes after lifting off a SpaceX platform in the Pacific Ocean.
In turn, the Falcon 9’s upper stage launched 20 satellites into low Earth orbit, deploying them there about an hour after liftoff.
SpaceX emphasized that this is the fifteenth launch and return of this Falcon 9 rocket.
Earlier, the launch of the Falcon 9 vehicle launched two batches of 43 mini-satellites into orbit to replenish the orbital constellation of the global Internet coverage network of the Starlink system.
It was also reported that SpaceX performed a controlled return of a launch vehicle for the first time.
