space race has become ferocious, and world powers are showing increasing interest in crossing the borders of our planet and aspiring their views beyond it. With more and more countries emerging with space programs, the uncertainty of what could happen in scenarios such as Moon as soon as everyone reaches it, it causes a number of reactions and comments, like Bill NelsonChapter POT.

Current leader POT told a German newspaper build what USA fear for what might happen to our companion someday China get to it. Nelson insisted that because Beijing are preparing a military space program not only to overcome their opponents, but also to exercise dominance in Mooneven with the possibility that one day they might claim him as theirs.

According to the administrator of the space agency, the Asian giant is seeking to build its own lunar base along with Russia and their plans should come true in 2035. If this happened, both countries could start experiments in moon surface as of 2036.

“You must disturb us”

In an interview given buildNelson indicated that the arrival “taikonauts” our satellite should be feared for what it may mean for other countries that have also shown interest in it.

“We should be very concerned that China will land on the moon and say, ‘She’s ours now, and you guys stay away from her.’, said the head of NASA. “A new space race has begun, this time with China. What do you think will happen on the Chinese space station? They will be there to learn how to destroy other satellites.”.

Chinese space program

China’s progress in its race beyond the Earth has been gigantic in recent years. In January 2004, the State Council approved a national lunar exploration program. Fifteen years later, in 2019, the Asian giant achieved its first big achievement when one of its ships landed on the dark side of the star.

The above mission was carried out by the Chang’e-4 automatic interplanetary station, which also used the Yutu-2 rover. The robot-explorer has overcome more than 1000 meters of this surface and has collected a huge amount of valuable information for its study.
