Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter D Saturn they will align half an hour before sunrise, extending diagonally from the east.
18 years later
This phenomenon has not happened for 18 years and, best of all, it can be seen without telescopes or special objects.
” planets they tend to move in and out of each other, but this is a particularly fun order. It’s just a coincidence,” said NASA astronomer Michelle Taller. “It’s kind of a really exciting journey through the solar system that you can do for free.”
This quintuple conjunction only occurs once in almost two decades, most recently in 2004 and the next in 2040, due to their different orbits and inclinations.
How and when to see the location of the five planets in the sky?
The phenomenon will take place this Friday, June 24, but half an hour before dawn.
If the sky is clear, it will be enough to raise your head to appreciate the event.
