In the past week, 121 thousand cases of influenza, ARVI and Covid were recorded, of which 59 thousand were children.
In none of the regions of Ukraine did not exceed the epidemiological threshold for the incidence of influenza, ARVI and coronavirus. This was said by the chief sanitary doctor of the state Igor Kuzin in a telethon on January 9.
“In all regions of Ukraine, a non-epidemic level remains, that is, exceeding the epidemic threshold for influenza and other acute respiratory viral infections, including COVID-19, have not been registered,” he said.
On average, 130 to 150 thousand new cases are registered in Ukraine every week. This is a total influenza, acute respiratory viral infections, COVID-19.
“The number of hospitalizations has not yet exceeded and reaches an average of 4,000 cases per week, that is, 5% of the number of cases. In fact, we are in the middle of the epidemic period, the epidemic has increased,” Noted Kitchen.
According to the chief medical officer, of all the sick and hospitalized, 50% are children. Last week, 121 thousand cases of influenza, ARVI and COVID-19 were recorded throughout the country, of which 59 thousand were children.
