The company has developed a generative technology based on artificial intelligence that can analyze video material and be able to explain in writing what it sees on the screen.
Japanese researchers have created AI technology to convert video to text. The development belongs to the electronics giant NEC. NHK reported this.
The data extracted from the video is edited into clearer text using generative AI.
The technology will be useful for creating accident reports by analyzing vehicle dash cam footage or creating work logs by analyzing video from a construction site.
“For example, if you ask this new technology to analyze a dash cam recording showing a motorcycle crash, it will create something like a string of words to describe what happened. Then, Generative AI edits these words to create a clearer description of the text for the reader,” the developers explained. .
Let’s remember that earlier in Ukraine they developed a roadmap for regulating AI.
