Ukraine in the 2023/2024 marketing year (from July 1 to December 4, 2023) exported 13.402 million tons of grains and legumes, which is a third less than in the same period last year. This was confirmed by data from the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food on Monday, December 4.

So, in the current MY, Ukraine has already exported 5.925 million tons of wheat, 876 thousand tons of barley, 0.9 thousand tons of rye and 6.467 million tons of corn.
For comparison, during this period in 2022/2023 MY, Ukraine exported 18.276 million tons of grain and legumes, including: 6.929 million tons of wheat, 1.482 million tons of barley, 12 thousand tons of rye and 9.79 million tons of corn.
In the first four days of December 2023, Ukraine exported 305 thousand tons of grains and legumes (in the first five days of December last year – 393 thousand tons).
Also in 2023/2024 MY, Ukraine exported 50.4 thousand tons of flour (from July 1 to December 5, 2022/2023 MY, 56.9 thousand tons were exported).
Let’s recall that in the 2022/2023 marketing year, Ukraine exported about 49 million tons of grain and legumes. Then our country earned more than 20 billion dollars. But Ukrainian farmers lost more than $1 billion in the idle time of grain ships.
