The Yaogan-39 device allows you to take high-resolution images anywhere on Earth.
China has launched a new Earth remote sensing satellite of the Yaogan series into orbit. Xinhua agency reported this on October 24.
It was noted that the Long March-2D launch vehicle with the Yaogan-39 satellite on board was launched from the Sechan Cosmodrome at 4.03 am local time (23.03 Monday Kiev time).
The device allows you to take high-resolution photos anywhere on Earth, regardless of the time of day. It is used in geological exploration, urban planning projects, agricultural and environmental measurements, and disaster warning.
This is the fourth launch of such a satellite; all the previous ones were successful.
At the same time, Western experts do not exclude the dual purpose of the devices and their use, in particular, for military surveillance.
