A new depression, about ten meters wide, was formed on the surface of the moon, due to the collapse of the Russian station.
NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter spacecraft has photographed an image of a new crater on the moon’s surface, likely the site of the impact of the Russian station. Monday-25. It was announced on August 31 by the press service of the US space agency.
It has been noted that in the latest images taken in June 2022, there is no crater – this was noticed in an image dated August 24.
NASA experts concluded that a new recess on the surface of the Earth’s satellite, with a diameter of about ten meters, was formed as a result of the fall of the Russian apparatus, and not a natural effect.
