The average dollar exchange rate at exchange offices decreased by 10 kopecks, the euro exchange rate fell to UAH 41.45.
The hryvnia exchange rate continued to grow in the currency market against the dollar and the euro. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to market monitoring data on Friday, September 1.
The average dollar exchange rate in Ukraine fell by 10 kopecks to UAH 38.00, the euro exchange rate fell by 15 kopecks to UAH 41.45.
In exchange offices, they buy the dollar at an average of 37.50 Hryvnia, the euro – at 40.75 Hryvnia.
The official fixed dollar exchange rate of the NBU since July of last year reached 36.5686 hryvnia per dollar. The official exchange rate of the euro on September 1 decreased slightly and now stands at 39.7391 hryvnia per euro (-0.0512).
Recall that in 10 days the dollar increased by about 1 Hryvnia – to the level of 38.60 Hryvnia, but at the end of last week the rate decreased.
On Monday, the National Bank eased restrictions on the sale of non-cash currencies by banks to the population. This led to further devaluation of the dollar in the cash market.
