In Kropyvnytskyi, oncologists removed a ten-kilogram tumor from a woman. This was announced by the Director General of the Regional Clinical Cancer Center, Konstantin Yarinich.
The doctor stressed that quite often surgeons are faced with the problem of neglect of the disease, when patients endure pain, are treated with the advice of dubious experts, but stubbornly do not want to go to the doctor.
“As a result, we get a massive tumor process, which, perhaps, can be stopped in time and without terrible consequences, if the patient turns earlier. Today, on the table of oncogynecologists no longer a girl who came. for help when the problem became so obvious that it interfered with daily life activities,” the oncologist wrote.
Yarinich emphasized that the situation is complicated by the fact that the patient has a second degree of obesity, type 2 diabetes, hypertension, heart failure, coronary heart disease.
“A 10-kilogram tumor that interferes with life will remind oneself of the consequences of its presence, because as a result of a histological study, data was obtained in favor of a malignant process. Health is not cherish until the disease comes! Take care of yourself! And be healthy!” – added the doctor.
