The hryvnia continues to gradually strengthen in Ukrainian exchange offices. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to market monitoring data on Tuesday, May 2.
So, today, on the second day, the dollar exchange rate on sale fell by 5 kopecks – to 37.90 Hryvnia per dollar. The euro exchange rate decreased by 5 kopecks – to 41.70 hryvnia per euro.

The official fixed rate of the NBU is 36.5686 hryvnia per dollar (effective from July 21, 2022). At the same time, on May 2, the euro exchange rate grew slightly and reached UAH 40.2693 per euro (+0.1371 UAH).
It will be remembered that last week the National Bank reduced the sale of dollars from reserves by 21%. In total, 444.74 million dollars were sold.
It was also reported that the NBU is easing restrictions on the cash foreign exchange market.
