Reed Hoffman, co-founder LinkedIn and OpenAI considers requests for Elon Musk stop the promotion of the model artificial intelligence (AI) ChatGPT they are for you to reach your complexity.
In an interview with Squawk Boxc from CNBCHoffman called the initiative “wrong”, which included signing contracts with other industry figures such as Steve Wozniak, co-founder Mansana.
“I think some of it is a little less well-intentioned, like ‘everybody slow down so I can go faster.’ (…) In general, I think this is a misguided effort, because in fact I think that all that we are far away in terms of development is that the best ways to ensure security come through larger models that actually actually trained to better align with human interests, and so the call for slowdown is actually less credible.”
Reed Hoffman knows Elon Musk very well
Hoffman is a member of the so-called “PayPal Mafia”, a group of workers and founders PayPal who later achieved a large presence in Silicon Valley.
