For Ukrainians who left for European countries because of the war and wanted to go to the UK, Wizz Air will allocate 10,000 tickets. This was reported by Travel Weekly.

Refugees from Ukraine who travel to neighboring countries – Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia – will have access to flights to the UK if they receive a visa to this country under the government’s Home for Ukraine scheme .

“The main objective of this initiative is to give Ukrainian refugees free travel in this time of crisis, as well as supporting the UK government’s Homes for Ukraine visa scheme,” Wizz Air said in a statement.
On May 5, 37,000 Ukrainian refugees had already arrived in the UK under the scheme for providing housing to local residents, and a total of 95,000 visas were issued.
