Huge iron ball appeared in Japanleaving neighbors, tourists and local authorities stunned.
A giant goal sphere appeared on the beach of the coastal city of Hamamatsu. The officers do not yet have an answer about its origin, but they assure that there is no threat in it.
“Godzilla Egg”
The sphere is about 1.5 meters in diameter and has been at the center of feverish speculation ever since it washed up on Enshu beach. It was found by a villager who alerted the police after noticing an unusual object on the shore.
Fears that it could have been a stray landmine were allayed after experts used X-ray technology to examine the inside of the object and found it to be hollow.
There is also no indication that he was involved in spying on neighboring North Korea or China.
Locals have already dubbed it “Godzilla’s egg”, “mooring buoy” and “from space”.
Local authorities have said that the facility will be dismantled in the near future.

Nervousness
Such a find would not normally arouse suspicion, but it comes amid a general concern over unidentified objects after the United States shot down a suspected Chinese spy balloon earlier this month.
On Wednesday, Japan separately expressed concern to China over alleged observation balloons seen over its skies at least three times since 2019, the announcement was first made last week. Beijing denies allegations of espionage.
