Cyber attacks have become more frequent, but they have also become more dangerous in their intrusions. US Federal Bureau of InvestigationFBI) announced the start of testing its network after the discovery cyber attack against your computer network.
According to CNN, the FBI has announced an investigation into attacks on a computer system used to store images of child sexual abuse. The attack took place a few days ago, according to two people interviewed by the media.
“The FBI is aware of this incident and is working to obtain additional information. This is an isolated case that has already been localized,” said the object in a statement released TechCrunch.
So far, there are no individuals or criminal groups who have claimed responsibility for this breach, nor has it been established the number of people affected or the fact that the FBI itself saw that its security was completely compromised.
The FBI is not invulnerable to hackers
The institution has experienced instances where vulnerabilities in its system have been used to access and use data to attack third parties.
In November 2021, a criminal managed to breach the institution’s digital infrastructure and create an “fbi.gov” account to contact people or companies that may have been affected by “ransomware gang attacks.”
After this raid, the FBI mentioned that they managed to fix this vulnerability. However, the investigative department has not yet published a list of suspects associated with this violation.
