Although he seems to enjoy being the center of attention on Twitter, Elon Musk announced that it would find a new CEO for the social network “later this year.”
During a video call at the World Government Summit in Dubai, Musk said he would find a way for the platform to continue to thrive without him at the helm.

“I think I need to stabilize the organization and make sure it’s in a healthy financial position,” Musk said when asked when he would name the CEO.
“I think towards the end of this year will be a good time to find someone else to lead the company,” he says.
His comment comes just hours after he posted photos of his Shiba Inu dog, Floki. Twitter as the “CEO” of the company.
“Much better than that other guy!” — wrote Musk, who often posts memes. The cryptocurrency known as Dogecoin, based on the image of the Shiba Inu meme, rose in price by about 5% following the posting.
