chihuahua by name thorn was named dog the oldest living person in the world, listed in the Guinness Book of Records, at the age of 23 years.
1999 year of birth, thorn he was identified last December with a certificate that states his age and place of his “birth”: Camden, Ohio.
Accepted and well educated
thorn He was adopted into Rita Kimball’s family 14 years ago. It was found abandoned in the parking lot of a fuel depot.
“He was shaved at the back of his head, had blood stains on his neck from a chain or rope, and looked pretty tough,” Kimball said in a statement released by the world record association.
After being told by a grocery store clerk that the dog had been there for three days, Kimball took the 10-year-old dog to his farm.

The record stays at home
The 11-pound dog survived numerous attacks from other animals, but “always came back stronger.”
Its owner applied for this recording after hearing Jimmy Fallon’s account of the death of the former owner of the milestone: a fox terrier who died in October 2022.
